Designed by Edwin W. Shaar and Colin Kahn, LTC Flash is a comic, hand drawn and brush script font published by P22 Type Foundry.

Flash was designed by Edwin W. Shaar and cut for the Lanston Monotype Machine Company in 1939. This brush script face is what Comic Sans should be: a casual hand-rendered lettering design that evokes a friendly attitude. Perfect for supermarket signs exclaiming “Green Beans .59 Lb.” or for non-threatening office memos or any other place…you might otherwise think about using Comic Sans!
